Yo Ho Yo Ho

The boys inspired me to make a card with my new pirate stamps. Darlene showed me the new TAC catalog and these pirates jumped out at me!!! The boys (and almost everyone else) is in to pirates these days!

Life is Full These Days!

I haven't posted in a while because we have been so busy. With 3 boys, a hubby, 3 dogs, and a full time job, time is precious. January is always a busy month for us. Gary turned 45 on the 14th, and Ben turned 16 on the 19th. Dave came home last week and we had an awesome clamboil birthday dinner. The clams and mussels were sweet, and the blue crab was awesome! As usual, the chourico (Portuguese sausage) was a hit! Doug, Trudy and Kristy joined us. It was great to see everyone having a good time.
I haven't had much time to take photos recently. Peter has been needing lots of help keeping up with his studies, and scheduling his time. Gary has been back to work at Rollins in Winter Park, and his time is also limited. Ben continues to be studious and a hard worker at his part-time job at Publix. Life in the Wolfepak is busy, but happy!
I am going to try to get some craft time in this weekend, and will post as soon as I have something to share!

In his Mom's footsteps?

Ben had a project to do for his Spanish class. The project needed to be a 3-D presentation on an artist that he has been studying. Ben came to me, asking if we could talk over some ways to present the information. He had in mind a sort of mini-album. After looking at some of the mini albums I had made this fall, he decided he'd like to try making his project from a pocket folder. VOILA--with a little help from his mom....this is the end result. He did most of this all by himself, needing only a little help being shown how to cut the paper to the correct size. The paper choices were based on the artist liking cats and also the color scheme he chose was common in her work. BUT...the most amazing thing to me, is that he did this 100% in Spanish.
Yes, I am a proud momma!!!!
