Springtime Fun with my Maggies

It has been a while since I have been able to play with my adorable, beloved Magnolia Stamps. Being on spring break, I promised myself to set aside fun time for me. I searched my stash of papers, and found these inspiring papers from Kaiser Craft. The colors just screamed "Welcome Spring!!!"
These cards are both 6x6, so that I have room to embellish.

Card kits available at Creativity Boutique!!!!

Happy Monday everyone! As most of you know, I have been on the design team of Creativity Boutique for the past few months. GerriAnne has asked us to create card kits to sell in the store. Currently, there are 3 card kits available. Each kit comes with directions and supplies. I have created one of the kits. I chose to create criss-cross cards that fit in a criss-cross box. The papers are beautiful!!

Here is the box you can make:

This makes a wonderful gift. Check it out here at the Creativity Boutique!

Found a fun technique today

I was looking for something new to do with my stamps, and found out that you can "paint" with embossing powders. Did you know you can do this? I just got some new Stampendous stamps from CREATIVITY BOUTIQUE andwanted to do something special with them. Here are the tools that I used, and my instructions on how to do this. If you want more details, head over to KREATIVE KABOODLES BLOG tomorrow for more in depth description.

You need the image you are going to stamp, white or cream cardstock, versamark pad, versamark pen, embossing powders and heat gun.

To begin, ink up your cardstock with versamark pad, approximately the size of the image you are using. Then, sprinkly embossing powders onto the area...making a pattern you like for the background. Heat with heat gun until melted.

Ink up your image with a versamark pad, and stamp onto the embossed area you just made. Sprinkle with a dark embossing powder, tap off excess, and heat with embossing gun. Your image will now be visible on the background!

This image is now ready to be placed on a card!

Have you missed me?

Sorry that I have been MIA for a few weeks. It has been busy around my house, and I just haven't had the time to hang out! I have been busy creating projects and cards for my friends at Creativity Boutique
Gerrianne has just gotten in some Penny Black stamps...I just love those hedgehogs!
Here is a card that I made today with the tiny wishes stamp set

I am going to try to be better about posting here...but sometimes life gets in the way of playtime!

Hi everyone!

Tomorrow is the Bunny Hop Crop sponsored by KNK and Creativity Boutique! I love to hang out at KNK (Kit-n-Kaboodles) which is a great online community where we share our love of scrapbooking as members of a monthly kit club. The designers there are WOW!!!and we have tons of fun there too! Creativity Boutique is a relatively new online store where we like to get stamping stuff. They are new, but are growing quickly and have a good reputation in the crafting world. They have some talented designers there too!
Stop back in to my blog tomorrow, or go to Kreative Kaboodles to see how much fun we can have!
Here is a little project that I did with items found at Creativity Boutique
They have a fantastic assortment of Stampendous Stamps and other papercrafting products!
